Our customer wanted to create enclosed work spaces to protect workers from the spread of COVID-19. Large, more open office spaces with multiple desks were causing health concerns.
solution
DAK is well-versed in creatively optimizing spaces for our customers. We normally install pre-engineered modular offices inside warehouse spaces to create small break rooms and offices, but this project shows that modular walls can be installed virtually anywhere to create additional rooms.
results
Two larger open offices were converted in to four smaller offices, resulting in the customer's ability to spread out their employees for a safer workplace. Modular wall installation requires zero business downtime; construction took place during normal operational hours and was completed in a single day.
