A systems integrator oversees your entire project, making sure your systems work together seamlessly and give you the performance required. They provide expertise, design, installation, onsite support and more. The primary benefit of working with a systems integrator, like DAK Solutions, is that you have one team of experts working for you, rather than individual contacts at several different manufacturers, technology companies and contract houses.

Introducing Tim Owens

I’m very happy to announce that Tim Owens has joined DAK Equipment & Engineering as the new Director of Sales and Marketing.

Tim comes to us with an engineering background. After graduating from college with an engineering degree, he worked designing pumps and part cleaning equipment. During his work designing part cleaners, he developed three different methods that eventually earned him patents. This led to an interest in material handling.

Tim ended up at Interlake, where he was promoted from regional engineering to corporate account management. After Interlake his career led him to material handling distribution companies, managing both sales accounts and engineering staff.

Tim decided to join DAK based on President and Founder Dave Kenealy’s reputation and to get back to his roots as an engineer and sales manager. His primary goal as the newest member of DAK’s leadership is to take project management and customer service to the next level. Tim says that “The only acceptable result is the best customer service in the industry.”

An avid photographer, Tim is happily married with two daughters who have convinced him to stay in shape by getting him involved in karate over the last decade.

We’re excited about the opportunities and dedication to customer service that Tim brings to our team.
