- Make inventory counts an opportunity for cleaning up. Debris like parts of cardboard boxes, tie-downs, plastic wrap, and more tends to accumulate on pallet racks. As your team performs an inventory count, have them clean up any trash that they see along the way.
- Wipe down your pallet racks. You may think it’s unnecessary to clean your selective pallet rack, but it really can make a difference. A cleaner environment is more efficient, and you won’t lose needed inventory in a cloud of dust. Most shelves can be wiped down with soap and water.
