A systems integrator oversees your entire project, making sure your systems work together seamlessly and give you the performance required. They provide expertise, design, installation, onsite support and more. The primary benefit of working with a systems integrator, like DAK Solutions, is that you have one team of experts working for you, rather than individual contacts at several different manufacturers, technology companies and contract houses.

Ridg-U-Rak Resizes Upright Footplates

I was working on placing a new Ridg-U-Rak stock order last week and ran into a problem where I couldn’t find the shims I ordinarily order. After some investigation, I found them but they weren’t the same size.

A quick phone call to my friends at Ridg-U-Rak and I confirmed that they have changed the size of their standard footplate.

Going forward, all non-seismic Ridg-U-Rak upright footplates have changed size as follows:

Original Size: 3.688″W x 6″D

New Size: 3.375″W x 4.75″D

This will not affect the upright characteristics so capacity and so on remains unchanged.  However, if you need to replace a frame for a customer you will need to re-anchor and replace the shims (if any) with the new size.
